A web-based classroom Action RPG where students battle hordes of enemies as unique fantasy heroes — and grow stronger by answering teacher-created quiz questions. Combat is fast, visual, and engaging. Progression is powered by learning.

What Is the Goal?
Avalon Heroes transforms review sessions into interactive adventures. Its goal is simple:

Instead of passively answering questions on a screen, students actively fight to survive, defeat bosses, and protect their team — with academic knowledge directly tied to their success. Review becomes an event.
What Makes It Different?
Unlike traditional platforms like Kahoot! or Blooket, Avalon Heroes does not treat questions as interruptions. In Avalon Heroes:
- Quiz answers unlock abilities
- Correct responses create safe zones in boss fights
- Knowledge weakens enemies
- Mistakes carry meaningful in-game consequences
Students choose a class — giving them identity, strategy, and ownership. It feels like a real game, not just a game-styled quiz.
How Can Schools Use Avalon Heroes?
Fully web-based — no installation required. Works on Chromebooks, tablets, and classroom PCs. Supports keyboard & mouse, gamepad, and touch controls. Teachers create and manage their own quizzes, launched during review lessons, test prep, or reinforcement periods. Designed specifically for real classroom environments.
Patch 0.1.0 is live — accounts, persistent gear, warrior abilities, quiz-powered loot, and The Barracks are all playable now. The public quiz bank is open so students can play any public quiz created in the quiz library. Multiplayer hosted sessions are coming in the next patch.
